What this estimate assumes
- State unemployment uses the state's rate for a new employer. Your own rate is on the notice the state sends you, and the platform uses it once you enter it.
- State income tax uses the state's 2026 withholding method with one allowance. City, county and school taxes, and pre-tax benefits such as 401(k) or health insurance, are not included here. The platform includes them on real payroll.
- It is an estimate for planning, not tax advice. Actual withholding depends on each employee's forms and year-to-date pay.
